Resync Specific Data

How to trigger a re-sync of data

There can be times where a re-sync (re-synchronization) of data is needed.

For example, if there was an issue with the sync due to lack of permissions, getting disconnected temporarily or a re-mapping of fields users may need to re-sync certain data into the destination platform (like HubSpot).

To allow this, Unific has added the capability to open any supported object within Unific and then resync that object.

The below video describes how to re-sync an object.

Video Overview

How to Re-Sync Data:

  • Log in to the Unific Admin
  • On the top of the main menu, select the store that you want to re-sync an object for
  • Click on the object type (Customers, Orders, Checkouts or Products)
  • Search for the specific instance of that object (Use the filter on the right to specify which field to search by)
  • Open the object you want to resync
  • On the top right, click the "Re-sync" button
  • In the dropdown, an option to select a "Connection" should appear.
  • There may be multiple connections listed if you connected the source platform to multiple destinations.
  • Select the correct connection that you want to sync to.
