Dynamic Coupons

How to Disconnect Dynamic Coupons app from HubSpot

Our coupons app is designed to work independently of our other apps. This means at any point you can chose to turn it off or fully disconnect it from HubSpot. The process is simple and we will walk you through it in this article.

Describing the difference between turning coupons off, cancelling your plan and fully disconnecting your app is important. Turning Dynamic Coupons off simply prevents you from creating coupon rules or using them, but the connection remains active. You will continue to be charged a basic monthly fee as your subscription remains fully ACTIVE. Disconnecting the app does not cancel your subscription, it simply closes all connection channels, so there will be no connection with Shopify or HubSpot; a new connection will have to created if you want to use the app again in the future.

Cancelling your active plan prevents you from creating any new coupons outside of our free plan limits.

To Cancel Your Subscription

1. Go to the billing screen on the left handsome of your Unific Dashboard, this is the first step as it will cancel your active subscription.

How does disconnecting affect your data and HubSpot account?

We have good news! Dynamic Coupons does not actively change a lot of your data or affect your account in anything that is not related to coupon creation.

However, here are some things to take into account.

1. Any past coupons that were created and used will not be deleted or cancelled, which means your clients can still use them in your store. If you want to deactivate them you need to do so directly in you shop (Shopify for example).

2. Any workflows created with the COUPON CREATE action will start throwing errors as this action will no longer be able to be completed successfully. This workflows need to be turned off or the action needs to be removed to prevent this happening.

3. For future coupon creation, any rule or discount configured inside Unific will not be copied to your shop, so any new coupon you create directly in your shop or through any other app, will need to have this reconfigured.
