How Unific Works

Ecommerce Bridge deprecation: new properties to use instead of depracated ones

On March 31st, 2023, Unific migrated off the Ecommerce Bridge API, which has been deprecated by HubSpot.

The migration required Unific to change the method in which the data syncs into HubSpot, but all features should function as they did before. This release has been thoroughly tested in lower environments.

The properties with the prefix "ip__ecomm_bridge__" created by this service will now be read-only in HubSpot.

What Has Changed:

Unific will now not be able to sync any value to the following properties.

Deal Properties (only affecting deal-based workflows): On the left you'll find the property we don't sync data to anymore. On the right, it's equivalent which will have updated information.

  • Source store = Store Id
  • Discount savings = Discounts - Unific
  • E-commerce deal = To filter out ecommerce only orders use: 'Sync ID is known' as a filter
  • Order number = Order Number - Unific
  • Tax price = Tax - Unific
  • Abandoned cart URL = Abandoned Cart URL - Unific
  • Shipment IDs = Tracking Number - Unific

Contact Properties:

  • Source store = Store Id
  • Ecommerce contact = To filter out ecommerce only orders use: 'Sync ID is known' as a filter

What You Need to Do:

If you are using any of the property that has the prefix "ip__ecomm_bridge__" in your workflows, for example, the "Source Store", then you need to use the "Store Id" property to identify the store from which the data is coming from.

Magento 2

If you are a Magento 2 user and have values syncing to properties "Store View," "Store Website," and "Store" properties, that will be a good choice to use in workflows. If you do not have these properties please submit a support ticket.

Anomalies and Bugs Expected

As with any big change, bugs and anomalies are expected. If any bugs or anomalies are discovered, the Unific team will fix them in the order in which they were reported. If any are found please submit a support ticket.
