How to Disconnect and Re-Connect an app

Disconnecting or Uninstall and app and Reconnect it

You may need to disconnect and reconnect an app to refresh its permissions (scopes) or to temporarily disable the connection. Unific makes this process quick and simple.

Disconnecting and reconnecting app on the connected apps page allows the user to refresh the connection to their 3rd party app without having to change the integration settings such as custom property mappings or order status mappings.

Steps to Disconnect or Reconnect an App


  1. Log in to your Unific account
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Connected Apps.
  3. You’ll see a list of all your connected apps.
  4. Use the buttons next to each app to take the desired action:

    • Disconnect – removes the connection between Unific and the app.

    • Reconnect – re-establishes the connection, often used to refresh permissions.

    • Install App – appears if there's a custom app. Re-establishes the connection, often used to refresh permissions.

    • Uninstall App – appears if there's a custom app. Removes the connection between Unific and the app.
